Thai-Chinese Village of Bahn Tham Santisuk

The entrance to Bahn Tham Santisuk, a Yunnanese village founded by the Chinese Nationalist Army retreating from the Chinese communists. The soldiers, who mostly married local girls and settled down, had neither Thai nor Taiwanese citizenship but existed in a sort of diplomatic limbo for decades.
