I am particularly interested in backgrounds; the stories of exploration and discovery that have gone to make a place what it is today and as an educator I like to share what I have discovered. Travel means different things to different people, to me it is a Zen-like process of personal discovery. You have to go a away before you can appreciate what you already have. Realising there is not only one way of doing something but many ways that are equally valid is an important life-lesson.

The articles are organised by country. Clicking on the country names in the menu will reveal the articles availlable unless you have Java Script disabled in which case all will already be revealed. Getting my photos organised is taking a bit longer but it is happening. Visit regularly for updates.

This site is very much an ongoing project so tweaks and minor changes are almost daily occurrences right now. If something doesn't work, come back tomorrow and it may well have been fixed. If it hasn't, please let me know. I have built this site up from scratch doing my own coding and graphics so things don't always look the way they should.
